We are hopefully coming to the
end of almost two weeks at 100+ temperatures. It has been a challenge to
keep everyone cool. Because of that, we only did "natural" photos of the
pups. It was just too hot to ask pups to stack ....and to behave themselves.
This will also give you some insight as to their developing personalities
and preferences...and their ideas of fun.

This is a co-bred litter with Kay Gentzler of SCF Aussies and Jo Kell of Rockin'K Aussies.
The puppies are being raised here in New Mexico. These puppies should grow up true to the standard
with dynamite structure, awesome movement, high intelligence, medium bone and medium coats.
The temperaments should be very biddable with strong work ethic for
performance.
This all red litter brings together some outstanding
bloodlines with the potential to do it all.

HOT, HOT, HOT!!!!! Yikes - the
weather service reports that we are setting records for the longest time at,
around or above 100 degrees....oh joy. Could have done without that!!! LOL
I only wish I could have
captured the puppies sounds and smells for you to go along with these
pictures.

Beating the
Heat!!! |

Fox in
an incredible mom-dog. No matter what is going on, wherever the pups have
disappeared "into", she doesn't get flapped and is always checking on
her pups.

Each litter
has it's own personality, drive and preferences. This litter is no
exception! This is the most amazing litter for carrying things. Doesn't
matter what it is made of - wood, metal, plastic, leather, cork, or
"natural"...as in parts of the garden or garden tools. If it can be dragged,
carried, crinkled, pulled, pushed or grabbed....these pups have it going.
Stuffed animals/toys are "ok" but if it snaps, pops, crinkles...makes any
sort of noise at all or you can shake it...then THAT is a toy!!!
Wheeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!
The monkey-knot rope is
the most favorite toy of all.

They seem to have
"green toe" for gardening....we've given up all hope for tomatillos,
tomatoes...and I'm assuming that the iris will recover from puppies....yet
again. |

The
pups were gifted with a "playhouse" from their father "Dan" and his
owner, Mary Ann. The play house is a children's tent and tunnel combination.
Vulcan and Su were two boys who took to it right away and thought it was
grand fun to zoom in and out...and in and out...and.....
Tito
and Bero were unimpressed and left for other fun.
Kenna
and Iggy initially pretended to not be very keen....but as soon as we left
the immediate area, they turned out to be engineers at heart....the
de-construction kind of engineer! (Iggy is inside in the second picture
below....pulling on the "house".)
